What the job match score actually measures
A resume that reads well to you doesn't always read well to the recruiter or applicant tracking system screening it against a specific job posting. The job match score compares your resume directly against the job description you paste in and scores four things: keyword match (how many of the job's important terms appear in your resume), skills fit (how your listed skills line up with what the role asks for), experience fit (whether your background matches the seniority and scope of the role), and completeness (whether your resume has the sections and detail a screener expects to see).
